When it can’t be called”broken” insofar that it can barely be finished, this wretched shooter made me want the reverse so I would have a reason to leave earlier. A phrase I had used previously was”rudderless” and it is a belief that infiltrates every other aspect of degree design.

Yes, this game has the audacity to end on a cliffhanger — as when I wasn’t insulted enough already.

Since the initial choices are melee weapons, the minute guards see how they instantaneously begin shooting in your direction nonstop. Given that crash detection for melee weapons is indeed awful, you have to cross your fingers and hope to get an opportune stealth kill to purloin a real weapon. In the event you do not have a clear and succinct ruleset to get stealth, then your game is inherently unfair. Realistic physics, implementing different impact reactions to materials and water floating system. Run, swim, fight and shoot, taking on mercenaries and non-humans creatures, while exploring each nook of the island.

I am sure enough to say that Another Dawn is the worst game you can purchase on Xbox. I say this fully aware that this may hurt the programmers from KR Games and I apologize for that but I have to be honest with my readers.

From top to bottom, this gameplay foundation is a house made of straw. The binary hidden/caught stealth dynamic is blatantly broken, enemy AI is only a one-track mind of walking towards you and ceaselessly firing their weapon, the level design is generic by mid-90s standards, and these are the shoddiest controls I have experienced in a shooter. The redeeming quality of the crossbow simply feels that way because at least it is merely mediocre by comparison. With a couple of redeeming qualities and mainly broken components that are unacceptable in today’s industry, there isn’t much to be cheery about. The premise is solid, with some interesting lighting effects, and music. However, these parts are glued together with a few undesirable and badly implemented vital mechanics.
